Public Transportation from Beijing |
| The following taxi fare is estimated during peak hours. If there is traffic jam, the fare may be higher. |
| • From Beijing Capital International Airport |
| |
Beijing Capital International Airport is located in northeast of Beijing city. It is about 200 kilometers away from Tianjin and it's about two and half hours ride toTianjin. Metered taxis and Airport Shuttles are available into Tianjin. |

Rate for taxis: RMB 10 for the first 3km , then RMB 1.6/km or RMB 2.0/km. In the one-way trip, an additional 50% will be charged per km in case the distance is over 15km . The taxi f are from Beijing Capital Airport to Nankai University is around RMB 600. No tip is required in China . |

If you plan to take the airport shuttle, please make sure that you get to the right one. You can show the following card to the shuttle driver. The whole ride from Beijing to Tianjin takes about two and half hours. |

Once you get to Tianjin, you can take a taxi to Jia Yuan Hotel at Nankai University or Huibin Garden Hotel. T he taxi fare to these two hotels is around RMB 20. No tip is required. |

| • From Beijin Railway Station (Simplified Chinese: 北京火车站; Pinyin: Bēijīng Huǒ chē Zhàn) |

If you can not speak Chinese, it is not recommended to get to Tianjin by train unless you already have tickets. The rate is RMB 42 per person, which run hourly, with the journey taking about 70 minutes. |

Once you get Tianjin Train Station, you can take a taxi or a bus to Nankai University. |

| • From Tianjin Binhai International Airport |
| |
It's very easy from Tianjin Airport to Nankai Unviersity by taxi. It's about 13 kilometers or a 40 minute ride to Tianjin Municipality . The rate of taxi is about RMB 70. |

You may take a taxi from Tianjin Train Station to Nankai University . The rate is about RMB 30. You can also take No. 8 bus to the East Gate of Nankai University or No. 48 bus to the Southwest Gate of Nankai University . The fare is ranging from RMB 1.5 or 2. |
