hotels

The hotel options near San Francisco State University aren't great, but there are two hotels in walking distance from campus:

  • Days Inn San Francisco At The Beach (1.8 miles from San Francisco State University, one can take MUNI bus, calm area with same restaurants a 15 minute walk away). Please mention that you will be a participant at FPSAC and the hotel will give you rooms at a reduced rate (you can only get that by calling +1.415.665.9000).
  • Hampton Inn San Francisco-Daly City (very close to BART, 2.1 miles from San Francisco State University, one can take MUNI bus)

There are numerous hotels in downtown San Francisco, about a 20-minute streetcar ride away from San Francisco State University.

  • Chancellor Hotel will give you a discounted rate of $109 per room and night if you book before July 2--mention FPSAC when you make a reservation (downtown union square area, close to public transportation, take MUNI streetcar to San Francisco State University).
